Responsible for project management and consulting on underground storage tank site closures, site characterizations, corrective action plans, remediation projects, hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, Phase I and II environmental assessments, certified mold inspection. Also, responsible for supervisory of field services.

August 1998 to June 1999

Assistant Environmental Scientist, Dames & Moore, Springfield, MO
Participate in all aspects of field activities, including oversight of drilling, monitoring well installation, groundwater and soil sampling and oversight of remediation projects.  Preparation of reports summarizing field activities and findings, provide support to the  environmental group by conducting Phase I Environmental site assessments and provide assistance in computer applications to technical reports and proposals.

January 1996 to May 1998

Research Assistant , Southwest Missouri State University (Biology Department), Springfield, MO
Identification, sorting, and dissection of zooplankton for photographs of species-specific characteristics.  Use of graphic programs for detailing the images.  Photomicrographs of 57  zooplankton species were taken for a SMSU zooplankton web site.  Qualitative and quantitative zooplankton collections, operation of boats, standard limnological measurements, algae collections, identification and counting of zooplankton, feeding an weighing fish, data entry and spreadsheet management, statistics,  graphics, and literary research. Ordering lab supplies and inventory.

Taught general biology laboratory for non-majors.  Lab prep, teaching and assisting in the administration of lecture tests.  Prep lab for limnology class.
